Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 26 July 2026. VowSetu is a private, invitation-only matchmaking platform for marriage-minded adults. This page explains our standards for preventing, detecting, and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Adults Only

VowSetu is an adults-only platform. Membership is strictly limited to people aged 18 and over. Accounts are issued by invitation and verified by our team before access is granted.

Zero Tolerance For CSAE And CSAM

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content or conduct results in immediate, permanent removal from the platform.

How We Prevent It

  • Access is invitation-only and manually approved by the VowSetu team.
  • Every member states their date of birth during onboarding, and anyone under 18 is refused.
  • Every introduction is made by hand by a human matchmaker, so no member can browse or contact anyone unsupervised.

How To Report

Any member can report another member from within their conversation using the in-app Report option. Anyone — member or not — can email us at the address below, and we respond to child-safety reports as the highest priority.

Response And Cooperation With Authorities

We remove reported accounts pending review, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement. We report to the relevant national authorities, including India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
